Asharqia Chamber will launch it next April.
"Logistics Integration Forum 2024" reviews the role of government agencies in achieving integration in the sector.
The Chairman of the Logistics Committee at the Asharqia Chamber, Rakan bin Abdulrahman Al-Otaishan, affirmed that the participation of His Excellency Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, as a keynote speaker at the Logistics Integration Forum 2024, reflects the ambitions of specialized businessmen and investors in the logistics sector, to review the latest developments in the sector in terms of legislation and support mechanisms directed towards the sector.
Al-Otaishan stated that the forum, organized by the Asharqia Chamber under the patronage and auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, The Prince of the Eastern Province, on Monday, April 29, 2024, will address three important axes through officials and specialists. These axes include the role of government entities in achieving logistics integration, investment opportunities in logistics and economic zones, in addition to the major challenges facing logistics areas.
He further elaborated that the logistics sector in the Kingdom in general, and in the Eastern Province in particular, is witnessing rapid and significant development in various aspects, notably digital transformation, and the utilization of artificial intelligence technology, enhancing quality standards and operational efficiency. He noted that the sector is progressing according to a roadmap aimed at enhancing its services and improving operations in line with the ambitious Vision 2030 of the Kingdom.
Al-Otaishan called on the business sector and stakeholders to attend the forum's activities and enrich it with contributions and discussions, in addition to benefiting from the presence of officials and experienced individuals in this field who will assist them in developing their businesses and keeping up with everything new, whether in information or work methods, so that they can improve their services to high standards.
The forum will be attended by several officials, experts, and specialists in the logistics sector, which opens the door for exchanging experiences and knowledge about logistics operations, supply chain management, and reviewing promising investment opportunities in related areas of the logistics sector. The forum serves as a platform for communication between experts, professionals, and investors in this field with officials from relevant authorities involved in developing the logistics sector, to review innovations, identify best practices and solutions in the sector, as well as to review major investment opportunities with relevant entities that play a role in the growth of the logistics sector.
